Developed Circa 1907 by Dr. Charles Yankauer, the Yankauer Suction Instrument has become the most common suction instrument in the world. It's primary use is to aspirate fluid and debris from either a surgical site or body orifice (i.e. airway).

CONMED offers a variety of rigid Yankauer instruments:

  • Standard bulb tip and open tip

  • Available with and without control vents

  • Available with select tubing pre-attached

  • Sturdy shatter-resistant construction enables use for retraction

  • Transparency allows clear visualization of fluids
